MiniMed Go™ system

What do I do when I get a Lost sensor signal alert?

There are a number of reasons you may get this alert:

  • The mobile device is out of range.

    Resolution
Make sure the mobile device and the sensor are located within 6 meters (20 feet). It is helpful to keep the devices on the same side of the body to minimise any radio frequency (RF) interference.

  • There is RF interference from other devices.

    Resolution
Move away from any equipment that can cause RF interference, such as cordless phones or routers or turn them off if possible.

  • Another app is in use, such as a game, that takes up a lot of the memory on the mobile device. This means that the MiniMed Go app stops running and can’t communicate with the sensor.

    Resolution
Close all unnecessary apps that are running in the background.

  • The MiniMed Go app has been closed. When you close the app, it has stopped running and can’t communicate with the sensor. Potential causes include using other app and features (for example task manager apps), or selecting Force Stop for the MiniMed Go app from an Android device Settings menu.

    Resolution
Open the app to ensure it is running properly. Check periodically to see if the app is still running in the background in order to receive alerts and SG values.

  • The sensor pulled out from the skin.

    Resolution
Make sure that the sensor is still inserted. If the sensor has been pulled out from the skin, you will need to insert a new sensor.
